 After the successful start of the season at Revelstoke (CAN), the Freeride World Tour 2012 will now guest at Europe for the first time this year. On their quest for the world title, the world´s best male and female freeride skiers and snowboarders will compete at Chamonix (FRA), before the men will move to Italy´s Aosta valley to the resort of Courmayeur (ITA).

Hosting the season´s second stop, Chamonix is arguably the world´s most renowned alpine resort and a Mecca for freeriding, host of the first Winter Olympics in 1924. With 4810 metres, Mont Blanc is the perfect backdrop for riders like local favourite and two-times Freeride World Champion Aurélien Ducroz (FRA).
