Freestyle sports: a premiere at Europe's biggest freestyle event!

On the 24th and 25th of September 2011, the eyes of the international freestyle community are on Zurich, Switzerland - the freestyle.ch 2011 - Europe's biggest freestyle sports event! Set on the shores of lake Zurich it unites the elite riders in the exciting freestyle disciplines of snowboarding, freeskiing, FMX, and skateboarding. Dirt ramps, big air jumps and a spectacular European premiere: for the first time, a mini-MegaRamp, the big air of skateboarding, will be set up in Europe. This new element will also have a bearing on the very popular crossover session, the spectacular cross-disciplinary contest on Saturday where the "crossover.champ" will be crowned. Aiming for this title are amongst many others skateboard legend Sandro Dias (BRA), the record-holder in X Games skate medals Andy Macdonald (USA), snowboard big air specialists Mark McMorris (USA) and Seppe Smits (BEL). The Swiss freeski superstar Elias Ambuehl will meet the double X Games winner Alex Schlopy (USA) and Mat Rebaud (SUI) is back after his injury and is ready to challenge last year's FMX champ and double Red Bull X-Fighters winner of 2011, Dany Torres (ESP). A true freesport highlight!
