This event is staged in Germany's most popular summer destination St. Peter Ording and is the biggest and most professionel kitesurfing event in the world. This event represents the fastest growing water sport in the world, which is known as one of the youngest trend sports within the action sports segment. It presents the best and most extreme kitesurfers who compete for world championship points in the discipline freestyle and  wave. A price money of 50.000 EUR in total attracts at 10 event days approximately 150.000 visitors each year.
