It was the toughest snowmobile race in Europe, a rigid test for men and machines: from January 30th to February 01st 2009, the 1000 TRAILS snowmobile rallye took place amidst the wild landscape of the Romanian Carpathians for the third time. Over three days, 80 participants battled out their intense duels on their fast snowmobiles and on the demanding courses with up to 200 kilometres daily distance.

Two runs to reinvent skiing/ to bring back to life the original freestyle spirit. Conceptualized by Julien Regnier Lafforgue, a La Plagne native and former member mogul ski team, who has since become one of the leaders of New School freestyle skiing, Linecatcher introduces a new form of competition among New School backcountry. A transposition of what you usually see only in videos, this event will showcase the specialists in a unique competition format. Thanks to kickers- jumps that backcountry the irregular terrain- and to the natural terrain of the Bécoin face itself, the riders will imagination run wild and produce some spectacular runs. The riders will be judged by international judges, including Julien Regnier himself, taking into account the best out a 300-meter wide run, with a 300-meter vertical drop. This face has the advantage of preserved throughout the winter thanks to the unavoidable 30-minute access hike.
