Since its start in 1996, the Xtreme in Verbier, Switzerland, has been considered the most prestigious event in the freeride world. On March 14^th and 15^th 2008, it´s just the right place to crown the first ever world champions of the new Freeride World Tour. For the "Finale Grande" of this series, the elite of freeride skiing and snowboarding will tackle the mythical North Face of the Bec des Rosses, a dauntingly steep and frighteningly jagged 500-metre rock-face, and paint the decisive lines on their way to the world championship.
