Outdoor Games 2006.
July 14th - 16th 2006, Interlaken (Switzerland). Since 2005, the Powerade Outdoor Games are hosted in Swiss mountain destination Interlaken. A multi-sports event in climbing and mountain biking, kayaking, BASE jumping and paragliding, the Outdoor Games will see two types of contests: the film competition and the sports competitions. In both parts of the event, some of the best outdoor athletes in the world will appear.
The film team competition combines the athletes performance with the creative and artistic dimension of filming. Each team will be equipped with video cameras and editing computers to create their own five-minute outdoor movie within five days. Furthermore, high-class competitions in the disciplines kayak-boatercross, mountain bike freeride, and climbing will present breathtaking performances on the highest level.
