Planet Surf: European Surf (Europe). Surf documentation about surfing from the french coastline to spanish hotspots. The Basque country, situated at the Atlantic coastline at the frontier of Spain and France. It’s one of Europe’s most important surfing region. The O'Neill Planet Surf project is a collection of perspectives from a cross-section of some of the blue planets most remote, unique as well as established wave frontiers. This documentary series explores the different communities that have arisen around Mother Nature's prime surf regions from California to Southern Europe, Hawaii to the exotic islands of the Pacific and Indian Oceans. Surfers journey north and west by plane, car and boat to reach one of the last surf frontiers. Over the course of one swell we will follow 6 different groups of surfers as they live and exploit the jewel in their back yard.
