The Qatar Airways GKA Kite World Tour has just wrapped up a record-breaking year packed with drama and excitement. The stars of the sport pushed kiteboarding to new highs in 2023 in their single-minded quest for world titles. Ten championship crowns were on the line in four kiteboarding disciplines—Twin-tip Freestyle, Big Air, Kite-Surf and Hydrofoil-Freestyle. The globe-trotting tour called at some of the most iconic kiteboarding destinations on the planet as the race for the titles hotted up. In all, 13 glamorous stops on four continents provided the stage for the drama to play out over a season that opeded in January and only finally closed in December. The world's best men and women kiteboarding athletes didn't disappoint, staging breath-taking shows and feats of graceful athleticism as they hunted down podiums.The judges and the crowds alike loved the kiteboarders' endeavours as the battle for honours and glory reached its climax.
