5-day mountain bike stage race in the Epic Series

4Islands MTB Croatia

Croatia (CRO), April 18th - 22nd

The 4Islands MTB Croatia, a stage race in the Epic Series (e.g. including the Cape Epic), welcomed over 400 mountain bikers from across the world for a five-day race on four Croatian islands. The race covered a total of 291 km with 6150 m of climbing and is unique as riders start on the deck of a floating boot. The event is for teams of two (more than 200), with both riders required to remain together throughout the route.
Lukas Baum (GER) & Georg Egger (GER), Cape Epic 2023 runners up and 2022 Cape Epic winners take home the coveted 4Islands MTB title for their first time. After winning all four stages, except the prologue, the German duo are the well-deserved winner. Second in the overall finished Hugo Drechou (FRA) and Hans Becking (NED) and in third Simon Schneller (GER) and Alban Lakata (AUT). In the UCI women category Bettina Janas (GER) and Kim Ames (GER) taking home the title, in second Allesia Nay (SUI) and Liisa Ehrberg (EST), Tanja Priller (GER) and Greta Karasiovaité (LTU) completing the podium.
