Qatar Airways GKA Big Air Kite World Championships

The reigning Qatar Airways GKA Big Air Kite World Champions look set to return to Tarifa, Spain, for the second straight year to defend their crowns in the biggest kiteboarding event of the season. The GKA Big Air Worlds will have a three-week holding window, from 26 March to 16 June. That will ensure the event directors can choose the strongest Levante winds—which can blow 30 knots to 50 knots—to provide the best Big Air show.
