Get ready for an exciting event in Barcarès, France, as the Qatar Airways GKA Kite World Tour arrives for the first Big-Air event of the 2023 season, from April 1st to 2nd. A total of 24 men and 12 women from 13 different nations, selected based on their ranking points and wildcard entries, will take part in this spectacular Big-Air twin-tip discipline France's Mediterranean coast. The Lords of Tram event had a month-long competition window so that organizers could choose the strongest days of famous Tramontana winds that howl over the flat-water lagoon competition area at Barcarès. However, the northwesterly winds showed up on the first scheduled days of competition with winds that hit more than 50 knots.
