World Rowing Indoor Championships 2024 – Prague (CZE)

Prague (CZE), 23rd – 24th February 2024

The 2024 World Rowing Indoor Championships will take place in Prague on 23rd and 24th of February and have attracted over 2000 entries in the 2000m, 500m and team events from athletes and para-athletes in more than 50 countries. For the second time in World Rowing’s history, the Championships will be staged as a hybrid event, connecting athletes from all over the world with the ones in Prague to race for the titles. One of the many highlights will be the World Rowing Versa Challenge: competitors will race in five different Challenges varying in time, distance, and type. The Versa is intended to test all the skills and strengths required of indoor rowers, with Elizabeth Gilmore USA and Finland’s Joel Naukkarinen returning to defend their 2023 titles. Ward Lemmelijn (BEL) and local hero Jakub Podrazil will face off in the Men’s 23-39 2000m, while Sara Maria Johansen (DEN) and Kathryn Mole (GBR) will be two names watch out for when it comes to the podium in the Women’s 23-39 2000m category.
