5-day mountain bike stage race in the Epic Series

The 4Islands Croatia, a stage race in the Epic Series (e.g. including the Cape Epic), is set to welcome over mountain bikers from across the world for a five-day race on four Croatian islands. The event promises raw beauty and different challenges each day, with some islands presenting rugged and barren terrain while others offer green landscapes. The race is unique as riders start on the deck of a floating boot. The event is for teams of two, with both riders required to remain together throughout the route. The race will feature a strong field of professional and amateur riders, including last year's Cape Epic Champions and this year's silver medalists Georg Egger (GER) & Lukas Baum (GER), as well as Hugo Drechou (FRA) & Hans Becking (NED), Simon Schneller (GER) & Alban Lakata (AUT), Peeter Pruus (EST) & Enrique Morcillo (ESP), and the two Italians Lorenzo Samparsi & Cherchi Dario. Among the women's teams are Alessia Nay (SUI) & Liisa Ehrberg (EST) and the German duo Bettina Janas & Kim Ames. The race covers a total of 291 km with 6150 m of climbing.
