Mediterranean Epic 2021
Castellón, 25th and 28th March
The Mediterranean Epic is an 4 days mountain bike stage race in the province of Castellón. It is the first mountain bike stage race in the UCI Hors Catégorie in the Olympic season. Bikers from 30 countries will be competing. Among them some of the best bikers of the world including legendary Alban Lakata, three times XCM world champion and one of the best bikers in the history of the sport. Next to him there will be another of the best XCM riders in the world, the Swiss Urs Huber. Another strong contender will be Jaroslav Kulhavy, Gold medal in the London Olympics and silver in Rio de Janeiro. In the women’s we will see true legends like Alice Pirard from Belgium, as Ariane Lüthi from Switzerland fighting for the title.
