GWA Wingfoil World Cup 2024 - Freestyle & Slalom - Jericoacoara (BRA)

November 26th - 30th 2024

The world’s best wingfoilers are set to land in Brazil for the closing World Cup event of its 2024 season with the title races in the Freefly-Slalom discipline still on the line. The Copa Kitley GWA Wingfoil World Cup in Jericoacoara (BRA) will also host the final stop of the Surf-Freestyle discipline where the new world champions, Spain’s Nia Suardiaz and the US’s Christopher MacDonald will be crowned. Surdiaz and MacDonald had a perfect season respectively with three out of three possible wins, meaning they can’t be overtaken in the overall standings at the final World Cup event. In the Freefly-Slalom category, Francesco Cappuzzo (ITA) and Suardiaz are leading ahead of the decisive event. France’s Julien Rattotti and Bastien Escofet in the men’s and Kylie Belloeuvre (FRA) as well as Dutch Bowien van der Linden are the closest ones in the hunt to challenge the overall leaders one last time this year.
