54th Engadin Skimarathon

On the second Sunday morning of March, the starting pistol for the Engadin Skimarathon is fired in Silvaplana in the Upper Engadin. The Engadin Skimarathon takes place on 10th March 2024.

It is the second largest cross-country skiing event in the world and the largest cross-country skiing event in Switzerland. Among the large crowd of participants are also world-class runners.

Every year, Switzerland's largest sports event attracts more than 11'000 cross-country fans from over 67 nations to the Upper Engadin valley.
On the 40 km long marathon route to S-chanf, the skiers run past typical Engadin villages and through a unique winter landscape.
