The world's most innovative skateboarding contest premieres in Germany: the Downtown Showdown 2010 is more than a skateboard competition. It's a challenge where craftsmanship, obstacle ideas and creativity play a decisive role. This year's hosting city of the legendary skateboarding event is everyone's favourite northern German City, Hamburg. On Saturday, the 14th of August 2010, the famous harbour city will host the international skateboarding extravaganza, right in the heart of the famous red-light district at the Spielbudenplatz.
