Enough with summer! That`s the slogan once again when the legendary Kaunertal Opening celebrates the freeskiers and snowboarders start of the season with competitions, live acts, parties and a big supporting programme for the 23th time consecutively. Europe`s oldest snowboard and glacier event will take place from the 17th to the 18th of October 2008. As always, it`s the obligatory date for the international snowboarding and freeskiing community to present the newest tricks after the long summer break and to herald the cold season. The Kaunertal Opening is an essential part of the beginning of winter, just like falling leaves indicate autumn and the warm sun signals summer!
