Snowboarding: versatility is key!

TTR Snowboard Champs Open 2008

February 05th to 08th 2008, Crans-Montana (Switzerland).

Slopestyle elements, a quarter-pipe and a super-pipe combined in one run - that's what the TTR Snowboard Champs Open 2008 is all about. This important event of the Ticket To Ride World Snowboard Tour (TTR) is the only competition in the world that offers such an elaborate setup. The aim is to determine the most versatile snowboarder in one run.
From February 05th to 08th 2008, the Champs Open will take place at Crans-Montana for the second time after the move from Leysin last year where they had been held for 15 years before. This long history makes the event one of the oldest snowboard contests in the world. The most renowned snowboarders and young hot talents will gather at the Champs Open to show their trick wizardry in an innovative new snow park and fight for a US$ 50,000 prize-purse. With two big kickers, three rails, a short super-pipe and a quarter-pipe, this sensational snow park unites the most exciting elements of freestyle snowboarding in one course. The rider who will be able to win the contest at this varied course can certainly call himself the most versatile snowboarder.
