On Sunday, 13th of March 2022, more than 11.200 athletes will compete in the second biggest cross country event worldwide and the biggest cross country event of Switzerland after the involuntary two-year hiatus. Among the incredible number of participants are world-class athletes such as the Swiss superstar Dario Cologna, who is looking to round off his last competition season with a fifth win at the Engadin Skimarathon.


What will await them on this day through the high valley are 42 exhausting kilometres over frozen lakes, past typical Engadine villages and through a picturesque Swiss Alpine landscape. The best will finish the track within a time of about 1,5 hours.
