No other mountain shape in the world is more famous than Zermatt’s Matterhorn. It has always been a dream of mountaineers to climb this prominent peak. 2015 marks the 150th anniversary of the dramatic first ascent. On this occasion, Swiss mountain sports outfitters Mammut, who turned 150 two years ago, presents Zermatt with an unforgettable vision: by installing 60 light sources along Hörnligrat, they will illuminate the route up to Matterhorn peak for one evening.
