Outdoor: The world's last truly wild expedition race

Patagonian Expedition Race 2011

February 14th to 22nd 2012, Patagonia (Chile)

Nine days in the remote wilderness of Patagonia, 600 km across the unspoiled fauna and the magical landscapes of the southernmost point of South America: the 10th anniversary of the Patagonian Expedition Race is one big adventure.  The course will again consist of a testing combination of kayaking, mountain biking, trekking and ropework, an exciting challenge for the 20 mixed-gender four-men/women teams.

This race leads all teams to the limits of human capability. Using only the traditional navigation tools of map and compass, the main challenge for the participants will not only be the isolation and the forbidding nature but also the unpredictable weather, which can change from sunshine to snowfall within minutes. It’s already a great achievement only to reach the finish line but if you are able to win this race, you become legend.
