Engadin Snow 2005 - Highlight

International top-class riders on skis and snowboards will gather for this unique winter sports festival in the Engadine. They will show exciting powder runs in the freeride invitational and thrilling jumps in the big air contest. The freeriders will impress the spectators with unbelievable jumps on slopes up to 55 degrees steep. Taking well calculated risks, they will drop 15 metre cliffs and run down the hill with super fast turns. At the big air contest, the freestylers show their skills with tremendous tricks and high airs. The Quarterpipe on the Corvatsch is the arena for the riders on skis and snowboards to demonstrate their skills. For four days, the "boarder valley" is the centre of the snowboarding and freeskiing scene. Engadinsnow.com is the counterpart to the Engadinwind.com, an event for windsurfers and kitesurfers, which is held on the Lake Silvaplana every summer.
