The fascination of high-ball bouldering is due to climb tall boulders without a rope where falling becomes more dangerous, because you cross “the point of no return”. In their interviews, Luger and Zangerl impressively describe how focussed they are while climbing high-ball problems, and explain the importance of self-confidence, the form of the day and the estimation of risks. The documentary also displays the moments of familiarity that are only possible if two people trust each other 100%, as in high-balling, the athletes “spot” each other in order to help each other in the case of a fall.
