Nissan X-Trail Asian Open - ALTS Bandai (JPN) February 24-March 1, 2009

In 2009, the prestigious Nippon Open Snowboarding Championships will become the Asian Open Snowboarding Championships.  Based upon an amazing 15 year history, the Asian Open will attract top riders from around the globe competing for top honors, fame and the largest prize purse at a Japanese snowboard event.  Alts Bandai resort will once again host the event and will feature Halfpipe, Slopestyle, Junior Jam and a night Rail Jam competition. On of the showcase events in Burton Global Open Series and proud to be an 5Star event on the TTR World Snowboard Tour, the Asian Open is a true "open" event where hundreds of amateur riders can register to compete and test their skills against the best riders in the world.
