At the 15th Sandboarding World Championships, the close community of 250 athletes from more than ten nations are performing. Besides exciting races like sand slalom and tandem sandrace, the sand freestyle contest attracted special attention. The Big-Air was enlarged by some rails and kickers. Fifteen years of "life in the sand" - The cult event at Monte Kaolino celebrates its birthday! From June 23rd to 26th 2005, the summer border event in Hirschau near Nuremberg took place in a completely new style of a "border oasis". Another highlight was that the the finals of these thrilling competitions were held as night races.
