Freeride World Tour 2019

The

Freeride World Tour (FWT) expanded to Asia! The season kick-off of the

world’s most important freeride series for skiers and snowboarders will

be held at Hakuba (JPN). The second stage of the tour will revisit

champagne powder paradise Kicking Horse near Golden, British Columbia

(CAN). The series continues with the well-proven spectacular slopes of 

Fieberbrunn (AUT), Vallnord-Arcalís (AND) and to the grand finale in

Verbier (SUI).

Hakuba is located in the

Japanese Alps and looks back on a long freeride history. The region

around Nagano, the host of the 1998 Winter Olympics, is famous for being

blessed with plenty of snow. An average 11 metres snow per year provide

for perfect freeride conditions.
