year old Tomass Marnics from Latvia put together a team of the world’s

best extreme kayakers. Together they planned to descend the legendary

Saryjaz River. The expedition took the adventurers directly to the “Eyes

of God”, a mystical cliff face reminiscent of an enormous human face,

in the no-man’s land between Kyrgyzstan and China.

The

extreme sportsmen spent ten days cut off from civilization, in deep

inaccessible gorges, sleeping under the open sky at night. They also

overcame the countless rapids at the absolute limit of what is possible

in kayaking – an undertaking that leaves no margin for error.
