ICF Stand Up Paddling (SUP) World Championships 2023 – Pattaya (THA)

Pattaya (THA), 15th - 19th November

 

The world's best stand-up paddlers will gather in Pattaya, Thailand, from November 15-19 for the ICF Stand-Up Paddling World Championships 2023, an annual competition of the International Canoe Federation, first held in 2019. With nearly 900 entries from 52 nations, it will be the biggest yet. Five days with three different disciplines, including Sprint, Technical and Long Distance. Stand-Up Paddling is one of the fastest-growing recreational sports in the world. It is practiced on rivers, lakes, canals, whitewater, and the ocean - basically anywhere there is water. Among the competitors are last year's medalists: Americans Connor Baxter (gold in Technical & Sprint) and the two Frenchmen Noic Garioud (silver in Sprint) and Titouan Puyo  (silver in Long Distance). As well as former medalists: American Fiona Wylde (gold in Technical 2021), Spaniard Esperanza Barreras (gold in Long Distance 2021) and Hungarian Daniel Hasulyo (bronze in Long Distance 2021).
