On September 27th the German capital turns into the marathon-capitol of the world for one day. With 40,000 participants and more than one million spectators along the course the 42st BMW Berlin Marathon is the biggest one-day sporting event in Germany. As a member of the “World Marathon Majors Series” the race guarantees high quality and is one of the best “city-races” in the world. Like in recent years the Berlin Marathon is one of the races where even new world records were reached.
