Crossmax Sölden 2003 - Highlight
Skier-X is shaking the Mountains!
Crossmax Series 2003/2004
29./30. November 2003, Soelden, Austria
Skier-Cross is clearly the new and outstanding discipline shaking down the mountains! Exciting and spectacular, Skier-Cross greatly appeals to skiers seeking for huge thrills: rock hard moguls of all sizes, enormous banked turns and incredible high speed sections are all to be taken at devil's top speed!
The athletes have to deal with all this by battling against ve other heavy-duty rivals, fearing nothing and nobody. Skier-Cross demands technical expertise, experience, total commitment, instant tactics and the most important: Just raw instinct for victory.
Over the last years Skier-X has developed to a real new discipline
within the F.I.S. Alpine Calender. For the third season in a row, SAAB-Salomon has organized one of the world's biggest tours, counting over 35 events in 12 different countries. Among them are 4 Crossmax International Series events which constitute a world circuit. The overall winner is qualified for the World Championships, the X-Games in 2005.
2nd Tourstop: Soelden in Austria
After the first, hugely successful event in Les 2 Alpes in France, Athletes from all over the world will meet in Soelden/Austria for the 2nd competition on November 29th and 30th to once again celebrate their sports and compete for the 10.750 US$ prize money and of course qualifying points for the World Championships.
