WOF 2021 #37: E-Tour du Mont-Blanc 2021

E-Mountainbiking: Second stop of the E-Bike World Tour 2021

E-Bike World Tour: E-Tour du Mont-Blanc 2021

August 11-13 2021, Verbier (SUI)

The track of the MTB multi-stage event Tour du Mont Blanc (E-TMB) leads around Europe’s largest mountain – a breathtaking Alpine scenery. The riders tackle various climate zones and cross 3 countries (SUI, FRA, ITA). Stage one goes from Verbier to Courmayeur, Italy; day two concludes in the French mountain sports hub of Chamonix and on the third day, winners will be crowned at the grand finale in Verbier.

Racing in teams of two – men, women or mixed – a fine selection of elite e-mountain bikers will face a gigantic task: 12 000 m of vertical ascent and 16 000 m of descent, over a distance of 300 km on predominantly rough terrain. And as they compete for their share of the 20’000 USD prize purse, riders will also need to prove strategy and timing skills, with only one refuelling point per day available to exchange batteries.
