Since 2002, the Professional Kite Riders Association (PKRA) has organized the PKRA World Tour and established itself as the leading institution by kitesurfers for kitesurfers.
The athletes' stunning tricks and their dynamic jumps ensure breathtaking pictures and thrilling contests. Within the framework of the tour, the female and male world champions are crowned. The PKRA World Tour is a unique combination of top-class sport at its highest level and exotic settings with beaches from Venezuela to Portugal. This is the 6th and last Tour Stop 2006 in Brazil, Joao Pessoa. The final event of the PKRA World Tour, The Super Kite Brazil 2006.  With over 8,000 kilometres of coastline, Brazil has everything to offer for today’s most progressive kiteboarders – from awesome waves to bash to flat lakes for progressive freestyle riding.
