Snowboarding: Olympic feeling in half-pipe and slopestyle

The huge success of the snowboard half-pipe competitions at the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver 2010 has given snowboarding fresh impetus. That´s why the IOC recently decided to additionally include the discipline of slopestyle snowboarding into the Olympic programme. At the Canadian Open 2012 from January 30 to February 05 2012, the freestyle snowboarders will return to the country that, with its enthusiasm and dedication to the sport of snowboarding, made an important contribution to the record-breaking viewing figures of the Vancouver half-pipe competitions.
