Five challenging waves that have to be ridden under the most extreme and cold conditions...Five events of the ASP World Qualifying Series (WQS), all surrounded by unique landscapes - that's the Cold Water Classic Series 2010. Following the resounding success of the inaugural tour last year, the series makes a much-anticipated return for 2010 uniting the most southern, the most northern, the wildest, the coldest and the most classic event of the surf world. Last year saw the series push the boundaries of surfing in a way never seen before offering some of the best waves of the WQS tour. Blending adventure, exploration, surf and competition, the Cold Water Classic Series will again inspire the world of surfing offering a US$ 50,000 all-over prize-money.
