The Nedbank Gravel Burn is a week-long gravel stage race in South Africa that debuted in 2025. Over seven days, riders cover roughly 800 km and 11 000 m of climbing while crossing diverse terrain, from coastal forests and rugged mountain passes to the vast semi-desert plains of the Karoo. Participants ride solo and stay in remote “Burn Camps,” where the organisers provide full logistical support, including meals, accommodation and technical assistance. Designed as both a test of endurance and a journey through dramatic landscapes, the event blends racing, adventure and immersive outdoor experience into one challenging and memorable expedition.
