The 2025 IWSA Formula Wing World Championships brought the world’s best wing‑foil racers to the sparkling waters of Poetto Beach, Sardinia, for an unforgettable week of speed, skill, and adrenaline. From September 23–28, elite athletes battled fierce winds and shifting conditions, showcasing daring maneuvers and tactical brilliance on their foils. Spectators were treated to breathtaking races framed by golden sands and the Mediterranean sun, culminating in historic victories as Maddalena Spanu claimed the first-ever women’s world title and Mathis Ghio triumphed in the men’s division.
