SWATCH FREERIDE WORLD TOUR BY THE NORTH FACE 2013

Chamonix (FRA) - January 26th to February 1st 2013

After two out of six events, Jérémie Heitz is leading Men's Ski overall with two second podium spots. Courmayeur's winner Aurélien Routens is leading Men's Snowboard with the win and a third place in Revelstoke, Canada.
The women will join the men for the third event in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc on January 26th.

Chamonix is arguably the world's most renowned alpine resort and a Mecca for freeriding. It hosted the first Winter Olympics in 1924. Skiers and snowboarders come from all over the world to take on the vast range of steep slopes. At 4,810 meters (15,780-feet), Mont Blanc is the perfect backdrop to the event. Chamonix is the hometown of two-time Freeride World Tour Ski Champion Aurélien Ducroz and 2012 Freeride World Tour Snowboard Champion, Jonathan "Douds" Charlet. With the events held on the magnificent Hotel Face at the Brévent ski station, Chamonix was part of all five editions of the Freeride World Tour so far.
