Highline World Champions to be crowned in Speed and Freestyle disciplines

From July 21 to 26, 2026, the Flims Laax destination will host the Highline World Championships for the third time. Around 40 athletes from around the world will stretch out on five parallel slacklines, ranging from 65 to 100 meters in length and suspended 20 meters above the ground, right in the middle of the rocksresort in Laax Murschetg. Among them: a local hero from Graubünden, a Swiss woman making the transition from synchronized swimming to highlining, and a French athlete making an incredible comeback. In 2026, the Highline World Championships will take place in Flims Laax, Switzerland, for the first time in the valley, after providing a thrilling spectacle high up on Crap Sogn Gion in 2022 and 2024. The highlines will be set up for the first time between the valley station of the mountain railway and the rocksresort in Laax Murschetg.
