The 2026 World Rowing Cup III will take place 26 – 28 June 2026 in Lucerne, Switzerland. The World Rowing Cup series was launched in 1997 and consists of a annual series of three events. The overall World Rowing Cup winners are determined after the last event through the points accumulated at both events. This year, the three stages of the series are Seville, Spain (29-31 May), Plovidv, Bulgaria (12-14 June) and Lucerne, Switzerland (26-28 June).

The following rights restrictions apply:
 

a.)    Rowing Rights holders (= garantours): No restrictions in terms of time and length of news broadcasts

b.)    All other channels: 

• News airings are “free of license fee” up to a max. length of 3 minutes. For longer broadcasts, please request access fee from your territory’s rights holder or the EBU. The delivery is coordinated by EBU + or by World Rowing Productions outside of the EBU territory.

• Online usage as a lone-standing news piece is not permitted, just embedded as sports report in full news segment
