The world's first high-altitude airshow, the Verbier Air Show, took place in its first edition on April 11–12, 2026, in Verbier, Valais (Switzerland). The best air athletes in the world gathered at 3,023 metres in the Alps. Base jumpers leapt from the Mont Gelé cable car at 3,023 m, while wingsuit and acrobatic paragliding demonstrations took place above the snow-covered slopes of the Valais Alps. In total, six different disciplines showcased their creativity at an altitude of 3,023 metres.
