Rowing: World's elite gathers in Amsterdam

2026 World Rowing Championships

Amsterdam (NED), August 24th - 30th, 2026

More than 850 athletes representing 64 nations will race for world championship glory when the 2026 World Rowing Championships return to Amsterdam’s Bosbaan from 24–30 August. Across seven days of competition, crews will battle for medals in 23 boat classes at the sport’s flagship event of the season. The United States, winners of the 2026 World Rowing Cup overall team title, will race 19 crews as they look to carry their strong form into the season’s biggest regatta. Germany will field the largest team, entering crews in 21 of the 23 boat classes. As host nation, the Netherlands have 15 crews entered, which they announced back at the start of June.

The following rights restrictions apply:
 

a.)    Rowing Rights holders (= garantours): No restrictions in terms of time and length of 52min broadcasts

b.)    All other channels:
