GWA Wingfoil World Cup / SFT Wake Foil & E-Foil World Cup Abu Dhabi 2025

October 25th - 30th 2025, Abu Dhabi (UAE)

Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, will make history this autumn as it hosts the GWA Wingfoil World Cup for the first time, marking the grand finale of the 2025 FreeFly-Slalom season. Leading the charge are two-time defending world champions, Nia Suardiaz, of Spain, and Francesco Cappuzzo, of Italy, who head to Abu Dhabi leading the rankings. With the season’s final stop still wide open, both athletes will need flawless performances to secure their third consecutive titles.

The SFT Surf Foil World Tour will stage its SFT Wake Foil and E-Foil World Cups for the first time in the Middle East at the Fahid Island Watersports Festival. The final stop of the 2025 SFT E-Foil season will decide the world title. E-Foil racing demands speed, technique, and finesse, with tight courses testing the best. Justin Chait (USA) leads, with Jacob Ranney (USA), Corey Merlot (USA), Christophe Ballois (FRA), and Ben Miller (USA) all still in contention. The SFT Wake Foil World Cup is a single decisive event to crown the first Wake Foil World Champion. Athletes will perform behind the boat, judged on technique, style, and power.
