In the year of the dragon, the ASP women´s Longboard World Championship returns to Wanning, Hainan Island, China 2012!

Swatch and the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) first brought surfing to China in 2011 with the SWATCH GIRLS PRO China hosted by Wanning. The second edition is back to Hainan Island and will again crown the Women´s World Longboard Champion for 2012. From November 21st to 25th the world´s best female longboardsurfers are back in town. Like in previous year Hainan, will host one of the most important events on the ASP Tour in the year of the dragon.

World-class surfers will take part at the Swatch Girls Pro China 2012 competition, including Proteam rider and one of the most colorful characters on the longboard scene Kassia Meador (USA). Lindsay Steinriede (USA) the Roxy Jam winner of Biarritz 2012 and Chelsea Williams from Australia the defending event champion. Among them, Jennifer Smith (USA), wildcard surfer Darci Liu from China, Miku Uemera (JAP), Kelia Moniz from Hawaii and Ophelie Ah-Kouen from the Reunion Island are a part of this competition.
