Burton Canadian Open 2010

February 02nd to 07th 2010, Calgary (Canada)

Shortly before the 2010 Winter Olympics will open at Vancouver, Canada, the North-American country will see another highlight contest and a last chance for the freestyle snowboarders to test their skills in the Olympic half-pipe discipline: the Canadian Open is coming back to Canada Olympic Park from February 02nd to 07th, 2010. At this venue famous from the 1988 Winter Olympics, riders from around the world will compete in world-class halfpipe and slopestyle courses and fight for a US 50,000 cash purse. Canada Olympic Parks 22-foot halfpipe is one of only three in Canada and was used as the model for the 2010 Olympic pipe at Cypress Mountain.
