26 years after its premiere event, the US Open still is the absolute highlight of the snowboard winter - the big finals that may decide over the success or failure of an entire season. From March 17^th to 23^rd 2008, 40,000 spectators will flock to Stratton Mountain, Vermont, to cheer for the world's best snowboarders fighting for the US Open trophies at the slopestyle, superpipe and big air contests. Even more, the cups of the Ticket To Ride World Snowboard Tour (TTR) and the Burton Global Open Series will be awarded in Stratton.
