Generali Munich Marathon

The Generali Munich Marathon starts at the famous Olympic Stadium, where the European Championships were held this summer 2022. The marathon continues through the city centre, passing the Marienplatz and English Garden, before the runners finally finish in the striking Olympic Stadium as well. At the 36th edition of the traditional race, the organizers expect a total of 20,000 participants. Around 5,000 of them will run the entire 42.195 kilometres. Also, the marathon holds an Elite Label Road Race of the International Association of Athletics Federations World Athletics.

Der Startschuss für den Generali München Marathon ist am Sonntag, 9.10.22 im Olympiastadion und führt durch die Innenstadt, vorbei am Königsplatz, Englischen Garten und Marienplatz. Schließlich führt die Strecke wieder zurück zum bekannten Olympiastadion. Das Rennen ist außerdem ein Elite Label Road Race des internationalen Leichtathletik-Verbandes World Athletics. Bei der 36. Auflage des Traditionsrennens erwarten die Veranstalter insgesamt 20.000 Teilnehmer, rund 5.000 davon werden über die kompletten 42,195 Kilometer laufen.
