FISA European Rowing Championships 2016

Brandenburg (Germany), May 6th - 8th 2016


The regatta course is situated on the outskirts of Brandenburg and is part of the Beetzsee river. Construction of the course began in 1967 and by 1969, the course was ready to host international competitions at FISA standards. The 2005 World Rowing Junior Championships and the 2008 World Rowing Under 23 Championships were held in Brandenburg, and the course also regularly hosts the German National Trials.
