Great Britain (Bolton) - August 4th

Returning to Bolton for the 5th year, Ironman UK continues to offer a world class event in the heart of the beautiful North West Countryside. The first part of the race is held in Pennington Flash where it is normally forbidden to swim. From there, the bike course travels via Westhoughton and Horwich before joining a three lap circuit which starts from Adlington in Lancashire. The running course starts from T2 at Blackrod & Rivington School and passes through Horwich and along the canal path at Middlebrook to Bolton.
