FISA World Rowing Championships 2013

August 25th to September 1st  2013, Chungju (South Korea)

For athletes and spectators alike, it's the highlight of the rowing season: from August 25th to September 1st, 2013, the World Rowing Championships will take place on Lake Tangeum near Chungju, South Korea. Since the successful World Rowing Cups 2013 at Sydney (AUS), London (GBR) and Lucerne (SUI), the rowers have been preparing for this climax. At Chungju, the World Rowing Association FISA (Fédération Internationale des Sociétés d'Aviron) will hold the World Championships for the first time ever in South Korea. After the 2005 event in Japan, it's the second time the FISA Worlds visit Asia - an important step for the further globalization of rowing!
